 How to Purchase

Making a purchase is easy. Browse through our products online, click on any items for further information and to add to the shopping cart.

Once you've finished, click on "View Basket" to view your purchases and continue to the checkout.

Once you checkout, to process the order, you'll be asked for a few details.

Payment methods

You can make a payment by debit or credit card.

Please note: Do not send cash in the post. We offer secure card processing.

Payment can be made over the telephone with a credit or debit card.

All credit and debit card transactions are made directly with HSBC, credit card details are not disclosed to us.


Postage & Shipping

We aim to ship your order as quickly as possible. However deliveries do depend on stock levels. The current stock level may be different from what is displayed online. We aim to deliver within 3-5 days.  If there are any problems with your order we will try to contact you straight away ideally by phone if you provide your number. If you are unavailable we will email to inform you of the issue and our course of action

UK Mainland Delivery Options


Standard Delivery

Our delivery charge for standard delivery is £3.99 via Royal Mail or Parcel Force. This is a guaranteed next day from dispatch delivery service. We aim to dispatch your order within 72 hours of its receipt. Though this can be longer depending on stock levels. We do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays.


Pick Up From Store

If you live close to our fancy dress superstore in Central Manchester you may pick your order up from there. Our delivery charge for pick up is £1.99. Your order will be processed and delivered to store. Please wait for an email to confirm that your product is available. It will then be available for pick up 24 hours later. All products for pick up must be paid for via the website.

Delivery times are based on stock availability. We try and make every effort for this to be reflected on our website though we cannot guarantee that it is 100% correct. 

Delivery Service Upgrades

Should the weight of any UK Delivery consignment be in excess of 2KG in weight, we reserve the right to ask for additional payment to cover increased postage costs where applicable.


International Delivery Options

We ship to most International destinations. We estimate that deliveries to European destinations will be around 5-7 days. Other more far flung destinations including the USA can expect deliveries within 6-10 days.

We cannot guarantee delivery dates for overseas deliveries as they are subject to customs clearance in the destination country.

We base our international delivery prices on an estimated weight. We try and keep costs down.

Please note that we will review the size and weight of all international orders and should an order be too heavy or too large which means the cost exceeds our published price, we reserve the right to withhold the order while we agree any appropriate additional fees with you.

You will have the right to cancel the order if you feel any additional charge is too expensive. If you have any specific delivery requirements such as an express courier service we will be happy to discuss this with you and arrange for the appropriate fee.

Import Duties

Please note, a parcel may incur Import Duties if delivery is made outside of the EU Member States. It is not the responsibility of All Things Fancy Dress to pay such fees and any duties due to any country outside of the EU must be borne by the customer at arrival to their destination country. Should a customer not agree to this Duty upon arrival and reject the consignment, whilst we are happy to refund the cost of goods, we will not refund the cost of International shipment charges.


 Loss, Delay & Damaged Goods

Whilst All Things Fancy Dress is responsible for shipping and making any claim for compensation for loss or delay on your behalf, any claim will be limited to the maximum compensation allowed by the shipping method you choose. In respect of any shipment, all goods leave us in appropriate packing material and in a non-damaged state. All Things Fancy Dress will, under no circumstances, accept liability for any claim for non delivery of goods or goods deemed Broken in Transit, although we will claim compensation or replace goods where applicable via the appropriate carrier on your behalf.


Order Cancellation: Pre-Shipment

If you wish to cancel an order or part order transaction before it is shipped, please do so immediately via telephone, or via email. You will be given an order cancellation number based on the time and date of the cancellation including communication method of the cancellation. Cancellations made via email  will be timed at time of reading, not sending or receipt. You will not be charged any penalty whatsoever and your payment method will also be cancelled. If the order has been shipped, then the Post-Shipment cancellation will apply.


Order Cancellation: Post-Shipment

You may cancel your order up to 7 working days from receipt of your purchase. You will be invited to return the goods in an unopened and unused state for refund. Please see our Returns Policy for more information.
